Electric car racing with Omnical parts

20 July 2016 line Electric car racing with Omnical parts A Greek student team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece is pushing the limits of electric car racing and, we are supporting them. We recently shipped our first boxes with donated parts for the electrical high voltage systems.

The team is currently working hard over the summer on their single-seat racecar that will race at the circuit of Győr in Hungary on August 18. Student teams from around the world will be coming together in Hungary to compete on fuel efficiency, endurance, auto cross, skid pad and acceleration, as well as design and business case.

Our team has good chance to make it on the podium. The Aristotle University Racing Team Electric achieved the fourth place overall in the Formula Student competition in Italy, ATA 2014, and the third overall position in last year’s equivalent competition in England, held at Silverstone Circuit, in July.

Both Aristurtle and Omnical started in October 2013 and both teams have taken a lead role in their categories through innovation. What will you make with Omnical electrical parts?
